I am running for the State Senate because I believe North Carolina and Cumberland County must build a better future for our next generation and ensure that no one is left behind. I am disheartened by the partisan decisions that are not always made in the best interest of our community and its citizens.
As a father, veteran and small business owner, I feel I can no longer sit on the sidelines and simply watch the political gamesmanship. I am ready to step forward and fight for a better way of life for future generations. I am a community servant. I have given my time, my heart and my energy in many capacities over several years to make our local community stronger. Whether serving as a city councilman or as part of many local organizations and non-profits, I have consistently stood with the people in fighting for the needs of our community.
We deserve jobs and economic opportunities that reach the many instead of the few. These opportunities must create economic ladders to help citizens make a better life for themselves and their families.
